Splice+ 2.1.1

Splice+ is a sophisticated smartphone application designed to enhance the functionality of Fujikura's Bluetooth-enabled optical fiber splicing devices. This application facilitates various essential functions, allowing users to edit device settings, update firmware, and access comprehensive tutorials on device operation. Additionally, it incorporates a smart lock feature specifically tailored for designated splicers.

Upon launching the app, users are presented with a list of available devices for connection, as well as previously connected devices. The interface includes rectangular link icons positioned on the left side of the top menu. When dark blue link icon(s) are present in the list, tapping the corresponding icon establishes a connection between the app and the selected device.

The link icon for any connected device is displayed in blue, indicating an active connection. Conversely, a grey link icon signifies that the device is not ready for connection. However, users can still access information about the device from the last successful connection.

To connect a device that does not appear on the list or has a grey link icon, simply press and hold the Bluetooth button on the device until the Bluetooth indicator lamp begins to blink. Once this occurs, the device will be listed with a dark blue link icon, allowing users to connect by tapping on it.

If pressing the Bluetooth button does not result in a successful connection, users should navigate to the Bluetooth menu in their iPhone's settings. By checking if the desired device is listed under MY DEVICES, they can select it, tap on the "i" icon, and choose "Forget This Device" to eliminate old pairing information before attempting to connect again.
